The Bamboo Pavilions, also known
as Five Bamboo Pavilions, sat opposite Fangwaiguan, facing
north. The five Western-style, double-eaved pavilions were
connected with four bamboo verandahs. This site was flanked
by a pair of lotus ponds, and to the north was a round fountain.
No trace of this site is found today. |
